I am sending my love and prayers not only to El Paso, Texas (and thank goodness your family is safe), but more recently, what happened in Dayton, Ohio earlier today I believe.
Our level of pain endurance in this country is astonishing. We are conveniently numbed by “something” or “somebody” and the dead keep on piling up, our children keep on getting killed, and nothing changes. For less than this, Puerto Ricans threw themselves to the streets to demand their Governor to resign. New Zealand did what they needed to do. Action, no thoughts, prayers, nor appeasing words! That’s what we need!
I have just posted about this, on my ‘other’ blog.

My sympathies, and very best wishes. Pete.

Thank you Mikey. We can use them. I never thought I would see such widespread evil and hatred in my Country. It’s very distressing.

Thank you John. I thought things would change when Sandy Hook happened. Then the Florida school shooting. Now this. I don’t know…

It’s many days later, but of course the anguish is far from over.
Thank you for spreading the love. Such a rarity these days. I hope we all stay safe.

Thank you. Yes, we all should be compassionate. It shouldn’t be so hard…And at some point, we are all going to need it too.
Thanks for reading.
